Maxi dresses...this should be a staple in your closet. We suggest that you have at least a casual one as well as one that can we worn to a dinner event or wedding. Dresses that sweep to the floor tend to have an overall dressy feel so if you were looking for a more day-time and understated version we suggest one in light colored lace, gauze or cotton.  These fabrications are more informal and a lighter color makes it read more day-time appropriate. Some of our favorite brands for this look are Jen's Pirate Booty or Indah.

If you are going for a more sexy approach we suggest a fitted option that accentuates your curves like Cas chose. The placement of the tie-dye, along with the deep V back is flattering and elegant. To dress it down she paired it with a strappy studded sandals creating a look that can easily be worn from day to night. Ken's sheer Hawaiian printed dress reads more formal off the bat. Paired with a simple heel since the print is more than enough to make a statement, this is the perfect classic look for wedding season, especially in the summer. The black print makes it feel more chic, yet the flirty florals keep this look fun. Some of our favorite brands who make some seriously swoon-worthy maxi dresses are Nightcap and For Love & Lemons.

Try to {MAXImize Your Look} for any occasion, with so many options out there, you can't go wrong!

X,
Ken&Cas
