Shift dresses have always been one of our fav go-to dress silhouettes. They can be casual or sexy depending on the color, cut, and fabric. The versatility of a shift dress is what makes it so appealing to us. It is so easy to throw on a shift dress - and with minimal effort you still look like you are "trying" to look put together (without trying too hard). The great thing about shift dresses is that they are also so forgiving. Sometimes, we don't feel our best, we get self conscious or we have a less than positive body image moment, and with shift dresses you can easily assuage those feelings.

We do recommend going for a shorter version when choosing a shift dress, only because since it has so much extra fabric width-wise, it is best not to choose a longer style (that can easily overwhelm your body). We both chose to pair our shift dresses with boots and a lust-worthy bag. Ken went for a silky work-style dress perfect for a dinner with friends or date-night. Whereas Cas chose a turtleneck sweater version that would be perfect for a holiday office party or a dinner out in the mountains. Go out and get your shift dresses ASAP, you won't regret it !
X,
Ken&Cas
